Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day QA technical activities, including requirements review, estimation, test strategy, technical project leadership, and work review.
- Architect and implement reusable test automation frameworks, quality plans, and test components.
- Integrate generative AI into QA through AI-assisted test generation, defect triage, test data creation, documentation, and intelligent test maintenance.
- Design and maintain UI visual regression and comparison testing across browsers and device viewports.
- Lead DORA metrics measurement and improvement, including reporting, dashboards, targets, and quality-process initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, SRE, platform, frontend, and design teams on quality, reliability, deployment velocity, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot and reproduce customer issues and support build, deployment, monitoring, security, performance, and scalability efforts.
- Mentor QA practitioners and help establish QA standards, tooling, architecture, and cross-functional practices without direct people management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software QA Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 6+ years of software development or SDET experience with a strong automation focus.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for test automation, tooling, and framework development.
- Experience with unit, integration, load, exploratory, REST API, UI visual regression, performance, security, shift-left, and shift-right testing.
- Experience with full lifecycle system development, application lifecycle management, version control, work-item tracking, and continuous integration.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude in software engineering or QA workflows.
- Experience implementing visual regression frameworks such as Applitools, Percy, or Playwright in a CI/CD pipeline.
- Proven experience leading or contributing to DORA metrics measurement and improvement across engineering teams.
- Experience testing complex microservice-oriented and distributed systems with fail-safe requirements.
- Strong knowledge of BDD/TDD, SQL databases and queries, performance tuning, scalability, security, reliability, and non-functional testing.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Preferred experience includes AI-powered test generation, intelligent test maintenance, LLM prompt engineering, agentic IDE practices, engineering metrics programs, and fitness or multi-tenant SaaS products.
