Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and desktop applications.
- Define end-to-end automation strategies for enterprise-scale applications.
- Develop scalable, reusable automation scripts using Playwright/Selenium with Python or Java.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end automated testing across multiple application streams.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered testing tools and prototype AI/ML-driven testing use cases.
- Analyze test results, debug failures, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve defects.
- Prepare test metrics, automation coverage reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Share knowledge and contribute to continuous learning and innovation in a consulting environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software test automation.
- At least 6+ years of experience working with AI-augmented testing tools.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Python and/or Java.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium, Postman, and LambdaTest or BrowserStack.
- Working knowledge of AI Copilot tools and experience applying them to testing or QA.
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks including REST Assured, Postman, and Swagger.
- Working knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle, debugging, analytical problem-solving, and defect resolution.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, learning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ORPOS/Oracle tools, retail, or digital testing is desirable.
- Expert-level Playwright and Python scripting skills are desirable.
