Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Temporal workflows, SDKs, workers, and infrastructure.
- Help developers deploy, scale, and optimize Temporal in cloud-native environments.
- Use logs, metrics, Grafana, and Prometheus to diagnose issues, reproduce bugs, and improve reliability.
- Design infrastructure best practices and independently drive solutions for complex production issues.
- Engage with developers, engineering teams, and product teams to address infrastructure challenges.
- Contribute to platform improvements, tooling, and self-service infrastructure solutions that enhance developer experience.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a developer, with fluency in one or more of Python, Java, Golang, or TypeScript.
- Experience deploying and managing medium- to large-scale architectures using technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana and troubleshooting performance and availability issues.
- At least one year of experience in an internal or external customer-facing role.
- Experience working with remote teams and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience in professional services consulting, solutions architecture, customer engineering, security certificate management, and translating use cases into Temporal architecture decisions.
