Responsibilities
- Own AI and GenAI solution architecture for PLM engagements, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM orchestration, and enterprise PLM integrations.
- Define LLM selection, token budgets, caching, latency, cost, compliance, and batch-versus-real-time strategies.
- Design RAG architectures covering chunking, embeddings, vector stores, hybrid search, reranking, evaluation, and quality standards.
- Lead MCP strategy, custom MCP server integration, Claude Code governance, project rules, hooks, and automated workflows.
- Prototype, code review, set coding standards, and contribute hands-on implementation while guiding Level 9 engineers.
- Define AI evaluation, observability, hallucination monitoring, production drift alerting, and responsible AI standards.
- Lead client workshops and architecture reviews, translate PLM requirements into AI solution blueprints, and support pre-sales scoping and estimation.
- Mentor engineers and contribute reusable assets, accelerators, and playbooks to Accenture’s internal AI CoE.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required; the posting additionally specifies 8+ years overall experience, 5+ years in AI/ML production, and 3+ years in GenAI.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Deep proficiency in Generative AI, Anthropic SDKs, Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, LLaMA, prompt engineering, Claude Code, embeddings, RAG, agentic frameworks, MCP, and LLM evaluation and observability.
- Strong Python experience with FastAPI, Flask, Pydantic, Pandas, REST APIs, streaming, asynchronous patterns, Git, CI/CD, code review, and standards setting.
- Experience with cloud AI services on Azure, AWS, or GCP, plus Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps pipelines.
- Experience designing solutions for PLM architectures, BOM structures, ECO/ECR workflows, configuration management, Teamcenter, Windchill, or 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Node.js and TypeScript experience for frontend AI integrations is a plus.
- Experience delivering AI solutions in engineering or PLM contexts is strongly preferred, and consulting or client-facing experience is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS ML Specialty, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Google Professional ML Engineer, Deep Learning or NLP Specialization, LangChain or Hugging Face certifications, and PLM platform certifications are bonuses.
