Responsibilities
- Design and build unified platform and middleware systems for diverse large-scale business requirements.
- Design and optimize multi-tier storage architectures spanning GPU memory, CPU memory, and external storage.
- Evaluate emerging software and hardware architecture technologies through experimentation.
- Plan and optimize heterogeneous resources across hardware generations, data centers, service tiers, and resource pools.
- Develop automated and dynamic optimization strategies based on model size, service traffic, and workload characteristics.
- Identify bottlenecks and continuously optimize large-scale distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming in Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with distributed systems involving recommendation, search, or machine learning, including areas such as resource scheduling, task orchestration, model training, model inference, feature extraction, MLSys, or AIOps.
- Strong logical, analytical, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience optimizing Parameter Server-like systems or indexing structures in large-scale search systems.
- Preferred experience with KV Cache systems such as Mooncake and with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MXNet.
- Preferred familiarity with Redis, LevelDB/RocksDB, MongoDB, HDFS, Ceph, or other large-scale distributed storage systems.
