Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand business and technical requirements.
- Onboard new customers and support smooth implementation processes.
- Design and build data-processing capabilities based on customer requirements.
- Execute ETL and data-processing jobs, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues.
- Analyze data drift and respond to customer questions about data quality and processing outcomes.
- Manage and compare processing runs across legacy and new systems to validate consistency and accuracy.
- Develop new functionality using AWS services, including S3, Athena, Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda.
- Configure alerting, monitoring, and observability for data-processing pipelines and applications.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation to maintain system availability and reliability.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience with AWS cloud-based services such as S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, and IAM.
- Strong experience working with SQL and building queries to analyze data.
- Experience working with large volumes of data.
- Experience working with data formats including JSON and XML.
- Experience with big-data formats such as Parquet and Iceberg.
- Experience working with or developing APIs.
