Responsibilities
- Develop and support custom applications, features, reports, dashboards, integrations, and complex data extraction queries for AdvancementRM, Salesforce, and related CRM products.
- Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to gather requirements, scope solutions, and deliver CRM builds.
- Design databases and use SOQL, SOSL, and SQL for reporting and data collection.
- Perform data imports, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and ongoing solution support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, validation rules, test plans, user guides, and approved build decisions.
- Manage development environments, releases, code versioning, deployments, and related development tooling.
- Lead activities on structured team development projects and participate in code reviews.
- Maintain subject matter expertise in Advancement Salesforce and related CRM tools.
- Mentor and provide guidance and instructional support to entry-level programmers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Five years of application development or relevant technology experience.
- Proficiency in coding languages, preferably SQL and XTML.
- Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming and database design concepts.
- Experience with SOQL, SOSL, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, WSDL, CSS, Salesforce API, and REST, SOAP, and Bulk web services.
- Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience leading activities on structured team development projects.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical clients.
- Ability to use varied programming methods and practices and recognize needed changes in user and operational procedures.
- Higher education technology experience, especially with Affinaquest or Salesforce, is preferred.
- Proficiency with Informatica and Apsona for Salesforce is preferred.
- Salesforce developer certifications are highly desirable.
- Relevant combinations of education, experience, and certifications may be considered.
