Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery to understand customer environments, requirements, constraints, and success criteria.
- Design customer-specific solutions that align platform capabilities with real architectures and business outcomes.
- Own proof-of-value and proof-of-concept execution from start to finish.
- Engage security practitioners, including analysts, detection engineers, and security operations leaders, on their workflows.
- Handle technical questions and objections, involving specialists for complex evaluations.
- Partner with the Regional Sales Manager on account strategy, opportunity planning, and technical win strategy.
- Build technical champions and expand relationships across customer accounts.
- Run the technical sales process, including CRM hygiene, MEDDPICC alignment, milestones, and follow-through.
- Contribute expertise to the regional Solutions Engineering team.
- Travel up to 30% and occasionally work outside standard hours across time zones.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with security analytics workflows such as SOC operations, detection engineering, threat hunting, or incident response, or experience supporting those teams as a technical resource.
- Working knowledge of SIEM and security analytics platforms and how security teams use them.
- Experience leading technical discovery and translating requirements into solution designs.
- Ability to design well-architected systems without being an expert in every component.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and explain technical tradeoffs to practitioners and decision-makers.
- Senior-level experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Working foundation in data movement, telemetry pipelines, logging, networking, or data architecture.
- Experience running hands-on evaluations, POVs, or POCs in cloud, hybrid, and enterprise environments.
- Ability to use AI to maximize effectiveness in the role and demonstrate a customer-first approach.
