Responsibilities
- Own gateway features end-to-end, including virtual MCP server aggregation, token exchange, policy evaluation, testing, observability, and operational readiness.
- Build production services handling credentials, tokens, tenant isolation, audit logging, and customer agent traffic.
- Implement MCP, OAuth token exchange, and agent identity specifications and contribute production feedback to designs and reference implementations.
- Use Claude, Claude Code, and MCP-connected agents in design, code generation, code review, and operations workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, incident response, service rollouts, and design-document practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building production backend systems, ideally distributed and highly available.
- Proficiency shipping production services in Java and/or Go.
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC and comfort implementing specification-driven code.
- Hands-on experience with service rollouts, feature flags, observability, and incident response.
- Working familiarity with agentic development tools such as Claude Code, MCP servers, and AI-assisted code review.
- Clear written and verbal communication and ability to collaborate across data-plane and identity-control-plane services.
- Preferred experience includes MCP servers, agent frameworks, LLM-facing gateways, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, identity or authorization services, edge-of-network services, standards work involving MCP, OAuth, GNAP, or DCR, and full-stack or frontend development.
