Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Design and own cloud-native distributed-system platform subsystems end to end.
- Build production APIs and microservices using Python, Go, or Java.
- Develop GenAI and agentic AI capabilities, including RAG pipelines and LLM integrations.
- Deploy and operate platform services on AWS and Kubernetes using effective deployment strategies and autoscaling.
- Apply secure coding, unit testing, risk management, and control practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Lead complex assignments or teams, set objectives, coach employees, and promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing and owning cloud-native distributed systems and platform subsystems end to end.
- Strong Python experience with FastAPI and asyncio, or strong Go or Java experience, including production APIs and microservices.
- Experience with AWS at scale and Kubernetes, including EKS, Bedrock, IAM, RDS/Aurora, deployment strategies, and HPA.
- Experience with GenAI or agentic AI, including LangGraph/LangChain or Google ADK, MCP/A2A, RAG pipelines, and LLM integration.
- Experience with Envoy Proxy or API gateway platforms is highly valued.
- Experience with OPA/Rego policy-as-code and AI safety controls such as guardrails, prompt-injection defense, and content filtering is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and identity systems, including EntraID and OAuth2/OIDC, is highly valued.
- Ability to lead complex work, influence stakeholders, communicate complex information, and manage risk and controls.
