Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Monzo’s native Android application.
- Create polished user experiences while balancing speed, resilience, and thorough testing.
- Work in an autonomous product squad with engineers, researchers, designers, product managers, QA testers, and data scientists.
- Influence what the team builds and how it builds it in pursuit of overall company goals.
- Write unit, Compose screen, snapshot, and Espresso flow tests.
- Participate in Android discipline discussions and improve shared tools, techniques, code, and processes.
Requirements
- Experience programming in Kotlin.
- Experience shipping and iterating on at least one app in the Google Play Store.
- A product mindset focused on customer outcomes and data-informed decisions.
- Ability to turn excellent design into polished products.
- Comfort working in an ambiguous team environment.
- Understanding of computer science principles.
