Responsibilities
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
- Own features and integrations from requirements and technical design through build, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Build secure integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, events, and asynchronous processing patterns.
- Create maintainable data models, automation, and custom code that comply with Salesforce limits and enterprise standards.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews and communicate implementation trade-offs and risks.
- Perform code and configuration reviews and improve automated testing, reuse, readability, and maintainability.
- Use DevOps practices, source control, CI/CD, environment management, and release controls for reliable delivery.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across Salesforce, integrations, data, and automation and implement sustainable fixes.
- Take independent ownership of a significant feature or integration through production.
- Contribute reusable components, documentation, and technical guidance to the broader engineering team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, Salesforce development, or enterprise application delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and Salesforce platform limits.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud; practical CPQ experience is valuable.
- Experience building or supporting integrations using APIs, MuleSoft, or comparable middleware.
- Experience with Salesforce security, permission sets, sharing, data access, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Git/source control, automated testing, CI/CD, deployments, and Agile delivery.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and communicate clearly with architecture, product, and business partners.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required, or equivalent demonstrated depth; Platform Developer II is valued.
- Additional Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, or integration credentials are valued.
- Experience with enterprise design reviews, architecture review boards, design authority practices, regulated or healthcare environments, or high-availability enterprise environments is preferred.
