Responsibilities
- Own enterprise strategy for foundation, frontier, and custom AI models.
- Evaluate, benchmark, onboard, and operationalize models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Azure AI Foundry, Databricks Mosaic AI, and open-source ecosystems.
- Architect and implement end-to-end ModelOps and MLOps lifecycle capabilities, including training, fine-tuning, evaluation, testing, deployment, monitoring, optimization, and retirement.
- Build model versioning, lineage, experimentation tracking, monitoring, drift detection, governance, compliance, and auditability frameworks.
- Design and implement Agentic AI architectures, multi-agent orchestration, planning, tool integration, reasoning workflows, memory management, and AgentOps standards.
- Architect AI gateways and model-routing frameworks supporting secure access, governance, observability, cost optimization, latency management, and multiple foundation models.
- Implement token optimization, prompt engineering, caching, model tiering, response optimization, intelligent routing, and AI FinOps reporting.
- Build and scale AI platform services for model serving, inference, vector search, RAG, and semantic retrieval.
- Develop reusable AI platform services, accelerators, SDKs, and reference architectures.
- Design secure, scalable, resilient, GPU-enabled cloud infrastructure for model training, fine-tuning, and inference.
- Implement infrastructure as code, automated deployments, platform observability, access controls, secrets management, model security, and responsible AI controls.
- Serve as the principal technical authority, mentor AI and platform engineers, lead architecture reviews, and drive technology evaluations and proof-of-concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, AI Platform Engineering, or Cloud Architecture.
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise AI/ML platform implementations.
- Proven experience deploying and operating large-scale AI, LLM, and Agentic AI solutions in production environments.
- Deep expertise in machine learning, cloud architecture, MLOps, platform engineering, model lifecycle management, and enterprise AI governance.
- Experience with model training, fine-tuning, model serving, inference, vector search, RAG, model routing, monitoring, and optimization.
- Experience designing secure and scalable cloud infrastructure for GPU-enabled AI workloads.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, leading architecture reviews, and partnering with business and technology leaders.
