Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, and troubleshoot secure and scalable software components.
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications while considering upstream and downstream system impacts.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, with peer review and validation.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify problems and support secure application development decisions.
- Apply software development lifecycle processes, technical troubleshooting, resiliency practices, and security standards.
- Deploy and support microservices and cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least two years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate and validate their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack Java enterprise development, Java 17+, microservices, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service, AWS Elastic Container Service, EC2, Terraform, and Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Preferred experience includes strong SDLC delivery in Agile environments and at least one relational database management system.
