Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous enterprise customer problems into well-defined agentic problems with success criteria and evaluation methodologies.
- Lead the design, development, evaluation, deployment, and post-deployment iteration of LLM-powered agentic workflows.
- Build reliable, observable, safe, auditable, and performant AI agents that work across tools and data sources.
- Define evaluation and quality standards, debug agent behavior, and improve prompts, workflows, tools, and guardrails.
- Build and ship North AI workspace platform features across the full product lifecycle.
- Own technical scoping and solution development end-to-end, including frontend work when needed.
- Work directly with customers and partners, including on-site travel of up to 20–40%.
- Mentor engineers, guide architecture and delivery, and contribute shared frameworks and patterns across distributed teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build, ship, and operate production-grade software systems.
- Substantial hands-on experience designing, building, evaluating, and fine-tuning LLM-based agents in real-world applications.
- Deep familiarity with LLM ecosystems, vector databases, RAG architectures, agent and orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, tool use, multi-step agent workflows, and failure handling.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders to deliver LLM-powered agentic solutions.
- Proven team-level technical leadership guiding the architecture, implementation, and delivery of complex AI systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Korean.
- Preferred experience setting architectural standards for AI and agentic systems across distributed teams.
- Preferred experience working across unfamiliar technical areas such as frontend development.
- Exposure to regulated or sensitive industries including finance, healthcare, or telecommunications is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise security, compliance, or auditability requirements for AI systems is a plus.
