Base Salary
$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI tooling that enables engineers to perform complex safety and physics analyses before design reviews.
- Automate legacy simulation workflows so engineers can run neutronics using configuration files.
- Integrate internal ticketing, design-tree, and file-management tools.
- Build agents for automated triage, routing, and prioritization.
- Identify engineering workflow bottlenecks, develop tools or prototypes, and ship solutions proactively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, physics, chemistry, applied math, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building tools or workflows using LLMs, AI agents, or modern AI techniques.
- Ability to work across technical fields such as neutronics, integrated safety, data, and manufacturing.
- Preferred experience with RAG and tool-use architectures.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
- Currently a US citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain a US Q clearance.
