Base Salary
$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI tooling that enables engineers to run complex safety and physics analyses before design reviews.
- Automate legacy simulation workflows so engineers can run neutronics using configuration files.
- Integrate with internal ticketing, design-tree, and file-management tools.
- Build agents that automate triage, routing, and prioritization.
- Identify engineering workflow bottlenecks, build useful tools, and move on to the next problem.
Requirements
- BS or higher in engineering, physics, chemistry, applied math, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building tools or workflows using LLMs, AI agents, or modern AI techniques.
- Preferred candidates have a background in physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, nuclear engineering, or mathematics.
- Ability to quickly become fluent in technical domains such as neutronics, integrated safety, data, and manufacturing.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
