Base Salary
$129k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate Linux host lifecycle management, including configuration, patching, and image creation.
- Migrate Ansible components from a monorepo into isolated repositories.
- Debug complex production issues across operating system, performance, and service layers.
- Design and improve infrastructure tooling that increases engineering velocity.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to incorporate FedRAMP requirements into infrastructure-as-code.
- Lead workload transitions to Kubernetes by optimizing container base images and host configurations.
- Own the reliability of critical infrastructure and lead infrastructure modernization projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in STEM and 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent related work experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with Linux in a production environment.
- Experience with Python or Ruby for infrastructure automation and scripting.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management at scale.
- Experience debugging complex system issues across operating system, performance, and service layers.
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and Docker-based containerization is preferred.
- Knowledge of Go or C is preferred.
- Familiarity with FedRAMP or NIST is preferred.
- Ability to lead technical projects from ambiguous requirements to production is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Person and may need to perform work restricted to U.S. citizens on U.S. soil.

- Starting salary range is $128,600.00 to $184,900.00, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
