Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, OmniStudio, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Design, build, and deploy Agentforce agents and custom actions using Apex, Flow, and prompt templates.
- Configure agent topics, instructions, guardrails, and enterprise data grounding for secure and accurate agent behavior.
- Test, evaluate, and refine Agentforce performance.
- Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems and platforms to support seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Write scalable code, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot applications, and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver government solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Monitor Salesforce releases and recommend development and application improvements.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an interim Secret clearance or higher are required.
- Experience supporting Salesforce platforms in Department of Defense environments is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- At least 12 years of general work experience is required.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator certifications are required.
- Three to five years of OmniScript and FlexCards experience, including leading technical design sessions, is required.
- Three years of Lightning Web Components and Visualforce development experience is required.
- Full-stack engineering and database development or integration experience, including three years deploying Salesforce production enterprise applications, is required.
- One to two years of hands-on experience designing and deploying Agentforce agents and custom actions is required.
- Experience with public-sector work, multiple Salesforce implementations, version control, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, Salesforce configuration, or Apex programming is preferred.
- Prompt engineering, Salesforce Prompt Builder, and grounding agents in enterprise data sources such as Data Cloud are preferred.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Apex, Flow, OmniStudio, Agentforce, Agent Builder, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Salesforce integration technologies is required.
- Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.
