Base Salary
$175k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Continue the PagerDuty rollout across engineering teams by helping define escalation policies, schedules, and runbooks.
- Build in-app Datadog instrumentation for metrics, traces, and alerts.
- Manage credential storage and rotation across environments.
- Manage certificate issuance, renewal, and rotation.
- Manage encryption key lifecycles and rotation to protect PHI.
Requirements
- Have 2–4 years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, systems, or a strong adjacent engineering background.
- Be familiar with PagerDuty or a comparable on-call and incident-response tool.
- Have hands-on experience with Datadog or another observability platform, or be eager to develop deep expertise in one.
- Have a working understanding of secrets, certificate, and key management, such as AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, ACM, or HashiCorp Vault.
- Be careful and methodical with security and rotation responsibilities.
- Be eager to grow into broader SRE ownership and work in a regulated healthcare environment involving HIPAA and PHI.
