Responsibilities
- Deliver server-side product capabilities in accordance with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and develop scalable test automation using Playwright with TypeScript or C#.
- Automate testing for REST APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations.
- Validate JSON/XML, data flows, contracts, and asynchronous or event-driven workflows.
- Test Azure-based applications using Blob Storage, Application Insights, logs, and related services.
- Build automated functional, integration, contract, end-to-end, reliability, and API security coverage.
- Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments.
- Collaborate with developers to shift quality left across unit, component, API, contract, integration, and system testing.
- Use Claude Code or equivalent AI-assisted development tools for test design, automation, debugging, and refactoring.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Playwright and either TypeScript or C# and modern .NET.
- Strong experience testing and automating REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with Postman/Newman, HttpClient, RestSharp, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of JSON, XML, object-oriented programming, design principles, and architectural patterns.
- Experience testing event-driven and asynchronous systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Application Insights.
- Experience with Azure CI/CD, Docker, Git, and JIRA.
- Experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants is desirable.
