Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable and responsive applications that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and develop scalable, reusable test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Automate application features end-to-end from the business user perspective.
- Build functional, integration, contract, end-to-end, reliability, and security test coverage.
- Validate UI performance, responsiveness, rendering behavior, cross-browser compatibility, localization, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with developers across unit, component, API, contract, integration, and system testing.
- Use Claude Code or equivalent AI-assisted development tools for test design, automation, debugging, and refactoring.
Requirements
- Strong experience testing responsive, dynamic, data-intensive web applications across browsers and screen sizes.
- Hands-on experience developing scalable and reusable UI automation frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience testing Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and supported browser and device configurations.
- Strong understanding of dynamic UI behavior, asynchronous operations, complex workflows, and API-driven UI components.
- Experience validating page and component load behavior, rendering performance, network latency, and client-side bottlenecks.
- Experience testing pagination, filtering, sorting, searching, virtualization, lazy loading, and large-data rendering.
- Ability to create stable, maintainable automation components that minimize flaky tests and support parallel CI execution.
- Working knowledge of accessibility testing, WCAG-focused validation, and tools such as Axe.
- Ability to use browser developer tools, network traces, logs, and application telemetry to diagnose UI and performance issues.
