Responsibilities
- Own the DevOps domain within an engineering area.
- Define priorities and drive technical initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Partner with software engineering teams to improve delivery, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Improve engineering practices through automation, continuous improvement, and platform evolution.
- Help teams remove technical blockers and improve developer experience.
- Contribute to architectural and operational discussions across the engineering organization.
- Identify gaps, risks, opportunities, missing information, and dependencies proactively.
- Drive backlog and delivery progress independently and work across teams to build alignment and unblock delivery.
Requirements
- Strong experience with modern DevOps and cloud-native environments.
- Experience with container platforms, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, platform reliability, operational excellence, observability, and monitoring.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and take ownership of outcomes.
- Ability to make sound technical decisions, solve ambiguous problems, and translate them into clear actions.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, communicate technical reasoning clearly, and build organizational alignment.
- Ability to identify risks, assumptions, dependencies, and improvement opportunities proactively.
