Base Salary
$170k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and manage fundamental cloud services and tooling.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters to meet engineering needs.
- Explore new tools to enhance application security and reliability.
- Assist engineers with best practices for platform deployment.
- Administer CI/CD and internal tools to streamline processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Proficient in at least one high-level programming language such as Python or Go.
- Strong understanding of networking, containers, security, and scalability.
- Solid Kubernetes fundamentals and experience with Helm or similar tools.
- Strong infrastructure as code skills, particularly with Terraform.
- Broad experience with cloud services, specifically AWS.
- Experience with observability platforms like Datadog.
- Experience writing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Experience in an on-call rotation for urgent issue resolution.
- Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes tools like Vault and Prometheus, data platforms like Snowflake, and cybersecurity compliance.
