Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications for Apple’s global online store.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver production-quality customer experiences.
- Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend code using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks.
- Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST, GraphQL, and backend services.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, shared components, testing, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate new web technologies and evolve scalable frontend solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of frontend development experience building consumer-facing applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, browser behavior, and web performance.
- Experience integrating with APIs and working with Git, build tools, and CI/CD.
- Preferred experience with React, TypeScript, or Next.js.
- Preferred familiarity with GraphQL, automated testing, and design systems.
- Preferred experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and browser rendering performance.
- Preferred experience building high-traffic, global, or e-commerce applications.
