Responsibilities
- Integrate security practices into DevOps pipelines and every stage of the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automated security testing tools and scripts to identify vulnerabilities early.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to promote DevSecOps and secure coding practices.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate security risks.
- Ensure DevSecOps processes comply with applicable security standards and regulations.
- Help develop and implement incident response plans and conduct security drills.
- Implement continuous monitoring, detect and respond to security incidents, and produce stakeholder reports.
- Conduct security best-practice training for development and operations teams.
- Evaluate, implement, and manage tools for vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and security monitoring.
- Maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or a related field.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GCP Deployment Manager.
- Strong understanding of security principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Nucleus and Orca security tools.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Run.
- Relevant GCP or AWS security certification is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
- Preferred knowledge of microservices architecture security challenges and Zero Trust security models and practices.
