Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases, frameworks, and regression suites using Playwright and VeriFix.
- Lead functional, regression, UAT, integration, and performance testing for financial and trading applications.
- Create automation strategies from business and functional requirements in collaboration with Product Management, Development, and Business teams.
- Report, track, and manage software defects and testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support release validation, environment support, application version upgrades, and release management activities.
- Lead process improvements, promote QA and automation best practices, and drive continuous quality improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, collaborate across multiple teams, and provide solutions to complex testing problems.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet quality objectives.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience, including experience with VeriFix, FIX Protocol, market data, and Playwright.
- Proficiency with Playwright, Investment Banking, VeriFix, FIX Protocol, Jira, and test case management tools.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and implementing automated test scripts using Playwright and VeriFix.
- Extensive knowledge of FIX Protocol and FIX-based trading applications.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks, regression automation, continuous integration pipelines, and conversion of manual regression cases into automated scripts.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and executing automated test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot defects, and provide automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment banking, and trading platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with HP UFT, UAT, performance testing, regression testing, release management, and application upgrades is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives products and experience in fast-paced financial market environments are preferred.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
