Responsibilities
- Develop core anti-cheat technologies within the game engine, including code hardening and client security.
- Integrate and maintain platform security features and connect anti-cheat systems with March of Giants and Ubisoft online services.
- Analyze cheats with security researchers to develop protections and detection methods.
- Use Windows internals and operating system security knowledge to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Debug complex game-security and performance issues while ensuring anti-cheat systems do not harm the player experience.
- Monitor developments in game security, reverse engineering, and cheat development to counter emerging threats.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other relevant training.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability analysis, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of game protection technologies such as obfuscation, anti-tamper measures, and detection methods.
- Strong C++ programming skills and understanding of low-level systems, multithreading, and memory management.
- Deep knowledge of Windows operating system architecture, APIs, and security mechanisms.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges and anticipate security vulnerabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
