Responsibilities
- Create and maintain security roadmaps, initiatives, standards, and guidelines.
- Identify infrastructure security gaps and vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans.
- Develop and implement security tools, controls, and automation across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.
- Perform security architecture reviews and assessments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to implement and consistently apply security policies.
- Govern and implement security controls through infrastructure as code.
- Maintain internal security analytics and data platforms and build pipelines for posture and event information.
- Document security configurations, policies, and procedures and report on security posture and KPIs.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience working as a DevOps professional, Cloud Engineer, or Architect with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- 1–3 years of experience managing and securing infrastructure as code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Data Science.
- Experience securing and managing applications on Kubernetes.
- Experience scripting and parsing information with Python, Bash, or Go.
- Understanding of scalability patterns for high-traffic infrastructure architectures and continuous integration and delivery models.
- Preferred qualifications include data engineering, ETL, data modeling, GitLab, and Security, DevOps, or Data Analytics certifications.
