Responsibilities
- Design and build event-driven security detections and internal security platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with security and engineering stakeholders to identify relevant signals, enrichments, and decision points.
- Operate and improve production systems with attention to observability, performance, reliability, incidents, and cost awareness.
- Own end-to-end delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Contribute to the long-term evolution of platform architecture and engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building and operating production software.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean design, maintainable code, and testability.
- Ability to work across system layers from application code through cloud infrastructure.
- Strong security knowledge covering threat-aware design, least privilege, secure defaults, and practical cryptography.
- Experience operating cloud-based systems; Azure experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with DevOps automation, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Hands-on experience with production logs, metrics, incidents, failure modes, and iterative hardening.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with event streaming, messaging, or data pipeline architectures is an asset.
- Familiarity with SSH, OIDC, OAuth, PKI, and SAML is an asset.
- Exposure to security telemetry, detection logic, or anomaly-based systems is an asset.
