Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and technical direction for PaaS product features and services.
- Drive development of complex software solutions with high-quality code.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve development processes.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement preventative measures.
- Act as a subject matter expert and share knowledge across the organization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with 3 years in a lead role.
- Deep expertise in designing and scaling complex distributed systems.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Ruby, Python, and Java.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of database systems and data modeling principles.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives from conception to deployment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and fostering collaboration.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
