Responsibilities
- Build backend services and optimization algorithms for real-time energy asset operations and forecasting.
- Create dashboards for battery operators to monitor and control energy systems.
- Design and operate scalable infrastructure for deployments across thousands of battery systems.
- Define product requirements with cross-functional teammates and deliver production-ready features.
- Deploy optimizations and improve them based on feedback from real-world use.
Requirements
- Have up to five years of work experience and a degree completed in 2023 or later.
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering with a grade better than 2.0.
- Have full-stack production application experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and Tailwind CSS.
- Have experience with energy systems and energy management controllers; real-time data processing, forecasting, or production optimization experience is preferred.
- Have experience in a fast-paced startup and with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Be fluent or near-fluent in German and have completed a semester abroad at a leading university in the US, UK, or Asia.
- Experience in a selective extracurricular university group is valued.
Benefits
- Salary range of €70,000 to €100,000 annually.
- Visa sponsorship is available.
- On-site work five days per week in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
