Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI and data science solutions by translating defined requirements into working technical components.
- Apply established machine learning and data science techniques to analyze data and solve business problems.
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in production environments.
- Contribute to scalable and maintainable MLOps pipelines.
- Develop and implement observability and monitoring for AI solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and communicate technical findings.
- Apply responsible AI principles and support AI governance and compliance standards.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in Python and C# is required.
- SQL or R experience is a plus.
- Experience with cloud AI services such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI.
- Hands-on experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of regression, decision trees, random forest, XGBoost, k-means, anomaly detection, and time series forecasting.
- Understanding of model evaluation and explainability concepts, including overfitting, bias, and cross-validation.
- Experience developing and implementing end-to-end observability and monitoring for AI.
- Experience working with large, complex, or messy datasets.
- Knowledge of public-sector data, regulations, compliance requirements, and operational challenges.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a commitment to continuous learning.
