Responsibilities
- Translate business and technical requirements into architectural solutions covering service boundaries, integration patterns, data flows, and technical decisions.
- Lead technical design discussions and evaluate scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability trade-offs.
- Build and evolve microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and asynchronous communication solutions using Kafka.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional international teams and support continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and technical leadership.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong system and solution design skills, including scalable backend architectures across microservices, APIs, messaging, data, and cloud components.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and building microservices-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with REST APIs, Docker, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and automated testing strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Python, Spark, Databricks, Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Factory, or Delta Tables.
- Preferred experience in fintech, payments, banking, e-commerce, or other high-volume transaction environments, plus exposure to distributed systems, observability, and performance optimization.
