Base Salary
$151k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver full-system, application-level C/C++ software features spanning software and hardware according to customer requirements.
- Interact directly with customers to identify use cases and manage integration projects through completion.
- Develop end-to-end integrations for applications such as matrix headlight control, mobile-app vehicle access, and in-car voice assistants.
- Collaborate with hardware and electrical teams to develop and deploy custom software integrations for intelligent vehicles.
- Design and bring up test rigs for end-to-end system testing and on-vehicle validation.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot integrations between software components for reliability and system performance.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in software integration or software development.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related area.
- Deep understanding of electronic systems and experience setting up and debugging them.
- Strong C/C++ development and software application testing experience.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering.
- Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting.
- Preferred automotive industry experience and familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Simulink, and AUTOSAR.
- Preferred experience interacting with customers to deliver projects meeting their requirements.
- Preferred experience developing software for large projects and managing release processes.
- Preferred familiarity with embedded systems development.
- Additional adjacent skills such as CAD, 3D printing, or PCB design are valued.
