Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Android and MCU device drivers and hardware abstraction layers for AR reference platforms.
- Integrate and bring up new wireless chipsets.
- Improve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth driver and firmware power, thermal, and latency performance.
- Collaborate with electrical engineering, MicroXR connectivity, and power teams to optimize the end-to-end connectivity solution.
- Lead technical engagements with third-party partners, providing architectural support and debugging expertise for device bring-up.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in C/C++, firmware, connectivity, or embedded systems.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of embedded development experience.
- Experience with Android platform or microcontroller unit software development.
- Preferred experience includes low-level embedded systems, application processors or microcontrollers, 802.11, Bluetooth/BLE device drivers, PCIe, SDIO, UART, Wireshark, logic analyzers, kernel tracing, and hardware debugging.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field and technical leadership experience are preferred.
