Responsibilities
- Develop and operate PowerShell-based automation solutions, including modules, functions, and versioning.
- Design and implement Desired State Configuration configurations and resources using idempotent approaches.
- Build and operate infrastructure CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex automation and infrastructure issues.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable automation architectures for hybrid and cloud environments.
- Conduct customer workshops, consulting, enablement, and training on topics such as Azure Arc, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows Server hybrid features.
- Create technical documentation and hand over solution components.
Requirements
- Completed university degree or comparable qualification or professional experience.
- Several years of experience in Infrastructure Automation or DevOps.
- Experience working directly with customers remotely and on site.
- Very strong German and English language skills at least at C1 level.
- Engineering-level PowerShell expertise beyond basic scripting.
- Experience with Desired State Configuration and idempotent configurations.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and/or Azure DevOps.
- Experience building infrastructure CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and fundamental infrastructure topics.
