Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a high-performance, responsive Progressive Web App with offline-first capabilities, real-time updates, and cross-device support.
- Own features end-to-end from ideation and design review through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design scalable abstractions and improve large, complex, and legacy codebases while balancing performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers, lead by example, and promote clean code, strong testing, and disciplined engineering practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to reduce repetitive work and focus on higher-impact engineering problems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building scalable, user-facing software.
- 4+ years of deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Strong architectural thinking, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in large, evolving codebases.
- Experience with JSX, modern HTML/CSS, and automated testing including Jest, React Testing Library, and end-to-end testing.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, domain modeling, and design patterns.
- Clear professional written communication and experience working in an async-first environment.
- A mentorship mindset and ability to make independent decisions.
