Base Salary
$108k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to DSP teams across the software development lifecycle.
- Review and approve Formal Qualification Test artifacts for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage and prioritize the DSP backlog with product owners and the DSP software architect.
- Support scope estimation during backlog planning.
- Coach team members, improve coordination, and remove roadblocks.
- Address complex technical and operational challenges with DSP teams.
- Use data and feedback to improve processes and product innovation.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience are required.
- Experience with Agile principles, frameworks, and tools is required.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team is required.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and/or Java is required.
- Experience addressing complex challenges in a collaborative team environment is required.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of data structures, algorithms, systems software design, operating systems, architectures, software development lifecycle processes, and software development with Windows and Linux.
- Preferred tools and technologies include Git, Jira, Jenkins, Perl, Bash, and KornShell.
- Preferred experience includes Agile/Scrum, DevOps, test automation, technical documentation, and team-based software development.
