Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Keet Mobile for iOS and Android.
- Build features for chat, voice and video calls, media sharing, device pairing, and identity backup.
- Implement UI/UX and integrate the device-based peer-to-peer core APIs.
- Integrate native capabilities including push notifications, camera, biometrics, and background tasks.
- Profile and optimize performance on real devices, including startup time, long chats, media handling, battery usage, and network usage.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests and help maintain stable releases through CI and crash reporting.
- Collaborate with core P2P, design, and product teams and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- Significant experience with React Native.
- Highly proficient in JavaScript and ES6+.
- Experience with Redux for state management and Redux-Saga.
- Experience with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with a remote team.
- Interest in modernizing and optimizing mobile or web applications.
- Knowledge of Swift and Kotlin and familiarity with Xcode and Android Studio are advantageous.
- Experience building something on a peer-to-peer framework is a bonus.
