Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Own frontend solutions from requirements and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Define frontend architecture, reusable components, technical standards, and modern Angular patterns.
- Implement state management using NgRx Store, Signal Store, or Angular Signals.
- Adopt modern Angular features such as deferrable views, new control flow syntax, and zoneless change detection.
- Translate product and business requirements into intuitive, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, backend developers, system engineers, QA, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in technical planning, estimation, solution design, and technical decision-making.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor other developers.
- Contribute to software delivery, automated build, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot complex frontend issues and improve frontend technologies, processes, and development practices.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of professional frontend development experience with strong Angular and TypeScript experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RxJS.
- Experience with frontend architecture, design patterns, reusable components, clean code, and NgRx or signal-based state management.
- Experience with Angular Material, PrimeNG/PrimeOne, or similar UI component libraries and internal design systems.
- Strong experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and WebSockets.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, browser compatibility, responsive web development, and accessibility.
- Practical experience with Figma, UI/UX designs, and prototypes.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing using tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated build and deployment processes.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical decisions, collaborate effectively, and mentor developers.
- Railway or signalling domain experience is an added advantage.
