Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C for microcontrollers.
- Document, manage, and help define requirements, design documents, design reviews, and verification procedures.
- Write concise, readable, maintainable code according to coding guidelines.
- Develop or modify unit-test software to verify embedded software.
- Interpret hardware schematics to configure software for microcontrollers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design electronics for Philips Oral Healthcare products.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 10+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, and debuggers.
- Preferred experience with FreeRTOS and BLE.
- Preferred knowledge of IEC 62304.
- Technical leadership skills, attention to detail, a continuous-improvement mindset, and fluency in English.
