Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end system features from user experience through backend code.
- Gather requirements with stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and improve existing systems through enhancements, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Integrate and evaluate LLM APIs, retrieval, structured outputs, and controlled tool or function calling.
- Validate prompts, generated code, retrieval results, outputs, security, hallucination risk, dependencies, performance, and sensitive-data handling before release.
- Apply approved AI coding assistants for generation, refactoring, debugging, and unit and integration testing.
- Follow coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Work independently as a subject-matter expert, contribute to team discussions, and provide solutions to work-related problems.
- Share knowledge and guide junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with Large Language Models.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency with Large Language Models and experience designing scalable, maintainable software architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and agile development methodologies.
- Ability to integrate frontend and backend components into cohesive solutions.
- Experience with LLM APIs, context and token-budget management, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and controlled tool or function calling.
- Ability to evaluate groundedness, hallucination risk, response quality, latency, cost, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling.
- Hands-on experience using approved coding assistants, context-rich prompting, generated-code review, and automated test validation.
- Knowledge of capital markets and investment management, including securities, trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and related financial-services processes.
- Ability to determine when prompt design, retrieval, or fine-tuning is appropriate and adapt to emerging technologies.
