Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and build engineering tools and extensible automation frameworks for Windows device validation, diagnostics, and ecosystem engineering.
- Apply AI and machine learning techniques to automate analysis, identify root causes, improve issue resolution, and generate engineering recommendations.
- Analyze product telemetry, validation results, and engineering signals to drive improvements in reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Define scalable architectures, technical standards, APIs, and reusable components across hardware platforms, device generations, and partner scenarios.
- Lead system-level investigations through coding, debugging, prototyping, and data analysis, translating findings into product and tooling improvements.
- Collaborate with OEMs, ODMs, IHVs, silicon partners, and cross-functional engineering teams to validate solutions, unblock integration, and scale engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience involving coding, or equivalent experience.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in both Mandarin and English.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 7+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or C#, with scripting experience in PowerShell or Python for test automation.
- At least 4 years of Windows development and debugging experience.
- Record of shipping successful software projects or services and delivering AI- and data-driven applications.
- Ability to influence across teams, establish relationships with leaders, navigate shared ownership, unblock integration, and drive changes through other teams.
- Prior collaboration with OEM or IHV partners.
