Base Salary
$45k - $75k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive test cases supporting business requirements for web applications, Web APIs, and batch applications.
- Execute manual and automated test cases and document defects thoroughly.
- Enter test cases and results into the test case management system.
- Monitor defect tracking systems and manage bug tracking.
- Collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Apply quality assurance methodologies and SDLC knowledge while proposing solutions and performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Preferred bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in manual or automated testing.
- Knowledge of Gherkin test format.
- Ability to identify software defects and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Exposure to user interface development, billing or payroll modules, or import/export data files is helpful.
- Self-directed, motivated, innovative, and committed to staying current with industry trends.
