Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and own infrastructure and automation for detecting, containing, and eradicating security threats.
- Develop alerting and detection strategies for malicious or anomalous behavior.
- Create defensive techniques to identify or counter evolving adversary tactics.
- Analyze network, host, memory, and other artifacts from multiple operating systems and applications.
- Investigate enterprise-wide operations to uncover sophisticated and previously undetected threats.
- Partner with the Information Security team to improve the company's network defense posture.
Requirements
- At least three years of extensive security experience with one major platform, such as AWS, Azure, Windows, OS X, or Linux.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or a similar programming language; Python is preferred.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and common protocols.
- Broad exposure to security domains, particularly forensics or threat intelligence.
- Deep exposure to incident response or detection engineering.
- A desire to contribute substantively to the information security community through talks, blog posts, public tools, or similar work.
