Base Salary
$138k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver technology powering the next generation of Datadog products.
- Coach and develop engineers ranging from new university graduates to senior engineers.
- Lead redesigns of significant portions of the Datadog product and website.
- Own core customer experiences, including the first-time user experience.
- Lead architecture, interaction design, optimization, experimentation, and delivery for high-complexity interactive browser applications.
- Coordinate across teams and provide technical leadership on organization-spanning design and architectural problems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- 4+ years of technical leadership experience, including communicating complex concepts and coordinating across teams to ship critical products.
- Experience running a high volume of experimentation and iteration cycles, including A/B testing.
- Strong UI/UX intuition and ability to partner with product design and product management stakeholders.
- Experience leading development of high-complexity, high-performance interactive browser applications.
- Ability to adapt software engineering best practices to frontend development.
- Expertise with React.
