Base Salary
$181k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own medium to large infrastructure and technology projects from technical design through completion.
- Design and build resilient, fault-tolerant systems while reducing failure domains and outage impact.
- Build software and automation that reduces maintenance effort and business impact during failures.
- Guide the development of Service-Level Objectives for owned systems.
- Lead cross-team technical planning, execution, release coordination, and risk mitigation.
- Lead and mentor engineers and establish standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
- Drive technical roadmap prioritization and contribute to organization-wide projects.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with increasingly impactful accomplishments.
- Experience contributing to cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
- Experience leading technical contributions and building fault-tolerant, scalable software systems.
- Expertise applying computer science concepts in engineering work.
- Experience mentoring and training more junior engineers.
- Ability to use at least one programming language to develop scripts and software.
- A B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent high-level industry experience.
Benefits
- Base pay is $180,504-$236,911 per year, with eligibility for employee benefits, unlimited vacation, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
- Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, 401(k) participation, life and disability insurance, and paid wellness time and reimbursements.
- Hybrid position based in the New York City office, requiring 3 days in-office per week; Thursdays are required and the other two office days are flexible.
