Base Salary
$250k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own release tooling across iOS and Android, including automated builds, code signing, store submission, phased rollouts, hotfixes, and post-release health checks.
- Build and maintain CI infrastructure with build-time budgets, flaky-test detection and quarantine, merge gates, and device and simulator infrastructure.
- Develop regression gates and automated coverage for crash-free and ANR targets, and fix crash clusters and harden error paths in app code.
- Operate observability and alerting systems to identify issues before they affect users.
- Build AI evaluation harnesses and integrate AI agents and LLM-powered capabilities into mobile development and testing workflows.
- Set quality and performance budgets, track them over time, and demonstrate improvements with data.
Requirements
- Broad mobile infrastructure experience at consumer scale across CI/CD, release automation, test infrastructure, and stability work on iOS, Android, or both.
- Hands-on experience with mobile crash reporting and monitoring such as Sentry, feature flagging such as LaunchDarkly, and release automation such as fastlane or equivalent tools.
- Practical experience applying AI to engineering, including evaluation harnesses, LLM-powered features, or AI agents in developer workflows.
- Measurement-driven experience instrumenting systems, setting budgets, and proving quality improvements.
- Ability to modify app code to fix crash clusters and harden error paths while primarily owning tooling and infrastructure.
- Ability to independently own release, CI, quality, observability, and AI tooling in a small-team environment.
- Familiarity with real-time data applications, live market feeds, or mobile trading products is a plus.
- Background in fintech or data-intensive consumer mobile products is a plus.
