Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Participate in solution design and translate business requirements into technical requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
- Develop backend web and worker services in C# and .NET for high-volume workflows.
- Develop frontend web applications with TypeScript/JavaScript and Angular, including attention to WCAG and Section 508 expectations.
- Write efficient SQL, apply relational modeling, and use Entity Framework and LINQ appropriately.
- Implement message-driven processing with safe failure handling, retry-aware logic, and idempotent processing.
- Build and troubleshoot containerized services with Docker and support infrastructure-as-code deployment workflows using AWS tooling.
- Use Git, branching, pull requests, readable commits, and code reviews in a team environment.
- Write testable code and contribute to automated unit and integration tests.
- Apply secure coding practices, manage dependencies and secrets responsibly, and follow security and compliance requirements.
- Diagnose production issues using logs, distributed tracing, and monitoring tools; participate in on-call and release processes.
- Maintain service boundaries and clean-architecture conventions while separating business logic from infrastructure.
- Use AI-assisted tools in accordance with organizational data-handling and security policies.
- Provide post-implementation support, documentation, risk escalation, and production-ready deliverables.
- Keep current with technology changes and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or relevant work experience, is preferred.
- At least two years of software development experience is preferred; junior-level candidates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
- Strong proficiency in at least one key software development competency is valued.
- Experience with C#/.NET backend development, Angular frontend development, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, and software development lifecycle practices.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a 6C Federal security clearance are required.
- Familiarity with Redis, IBM i Db2, and NServiceBus or a similar messaging framework is a plus.
- Understanding of secure coding, NIST-informed security requirements, containerized environments, distributed systems, automated testing, and agile delivery is expected.
- Ability to learn new technologies and business concepts within a complex regulatory environment is required.
