Base Salary
$132k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time applications on application processors and microcontrollers using C/C++.
- Participate in requirements documentation, design documentation, test-plan generation and execution, peer reviews, and process improvements.
- Debug complex issues during product development.
- Develop drivers for embedded communication protocols including SPI, I2C, and UART.
- Develop applications that interact with custom hardware on QNX and embedded Linux.
- Collaborate with electrical engineering, DSP, system test, and software QA teams, including supporting schematic reviews and new product design.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing C/C++ code in embedded systems environments.
- Familiarity with QNX, embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, or Zephyr.
- Experience developing drivers for protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
- Experience developing applications interacting with custom hardware on QNX and embedded Linux.
- Experience with ARM and Tensilica architectures.
- Strong understanding of operating system and real-time operating system fundamentals.
- Ability to work in laboratory settings with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Preferred qualifications include network programming, AUTOSAR middleware, general automotive software development, and hobby embedded systems projects.
